There are lot of debates and researches being conducted to demonstrate that Immigrants help US and also its economy. In fact, we can convince people by showing evidences that alcohol is good to health. However, I don't want to go deep in to this debates, but here below are two drops from a mighty ocean of Immigrants, of whom everybody would be proud, remember they got their Green Cards only recently.
1. Orkut Buyukkokten
This is the guy who re-introduced my love, yes creator of a very famous social website called “orkut.” This is very famous in India like FaceBook in US. Orkut was born in Konya, Turkey, and later received his Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University. He joined Google as a software engineer in 2002 through the H-1B visa program. After spending four years in the U.S. on an H-1B visa, Orkut recently received his green card for permanent residency.

2. Krishna Bharat
Krishna is one of the chief creators of Google News that aggregates more than 4,500 English-language news websites around the world. Today, Krishna serves as Google's Principal Scientist; Krishna Bharat joined Google through the H-1B program. A native of India, he received his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech in human computer interaction. He too, has received his green card for permanent residency.
There are many more to say in the same way there many many more who are a simple waste for US including many US native born. But, I would opine a proper channelization of Immigrants would definitely make a country grow.
