Change in a work location does not require an amendment

If an H-1B employee is moved to a new worksite that is outside of the originally contemplated area of intended employment, then a new LCA is required. However, the petitioner need not file an H-1B amendment petition as per INS Memorandum dated August 22, 1996, famously known as Hogan Memo. Click here to see it yourselves
